Whether you are looking for a lawyer because you think you are going to be charged or you are considering pleading guilty and want to get the best possible sentence, good legal advice can be the difference between an excellent outcome and one which you will live to regret. Danielle will make the complex simple and she will deliver results on time and within the agreed estimate. She has experience representing clients charged with:
Drugs including possession of drug utensils and possession of drugs for possession or supply.
Dishonesty including theft, shoplifting, using a document for a pecuniary advantage and unlawfully gets into a motor vehicle.
Violence including common assault, assault with a weapon, threatening to kill, strangulation, indecent assault and assault with intent to injure.
Breaches of court orders including breach of supervision, breach of community work, breach of a protection order and breach of bail.
Minor offences including wilful damage, wilful trespass, disorderly behaviour and unlawfully being in a building.
If you are a first offender then diversion or a discharge without conviction may be worthwhile exploring so that you can keep your traffic and criminal record clean. Danielle has obtained diversion and discharges without conviction for charges ranging from minor offences like possession of cannabis right through to burglary which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years' imprisonment.

Traffic legislation, regulations and rules can be incredibly complex with additional penalties for repeat offenders which you need to be aware of. Regardless of the charge, Danielle will use her problem-solving skills to come up with a range of solutions for you to consider. She provides practical and straight forward advice and will help to guide you through the decision-making process. She regularly achieves outcomes which include:
Community work in lieu of disqualification;
Special reasons not to be disqualified from driving; and
Discharges without a conviction.
These applications are usually required to be in writing. In addition to being a fearless advocate, Danielle often receives compliments from the judiciary about the quality of her detailed written legal submissions and the affidavit evidence filed in support. She is committed to delivering these in a timely way to comply with the court's directions.

If you find yourself being pulled over for being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, then do not despair. Danielle can carefully analyse the steps the police took to obtain your sample to determine whether there are any technical defences available to you. She has successfully avoided convictions for her clients in relation to drink driving charges when:
The Police have failed to give a person 10 minutes to consider whether to provide a blood specimen;
The Police have failed to advise a person of a positive evidential breath test without delay; and
The Police have failed to provide a person with an interpreter when reading them their rights.
The Police are human beings and they make mistakes too. These mistakes can be fatal to the prosecution if there is a serious breach of your rights which can render evidence against you inadmissible in court. Danielle has over 20 years' experience acting for clients charged with these types of offences so she can quickly assess the merits of defending a charge.

Being without your driver’s licence for any length of time is incredibly difficult. Danielle understands that time is of the essence when it comes to applying for your limited licence so she will ensure that you spend the least amount of time off the road as possible. After asking you a few questions to confirm your eligibility, Danielle will send you a questionnaire to complete so that she can get started straight away. She will be there every step of the way to assist you by:
Preparing a written application, draft order and supporting affirmations;
Negotiating with the police to ensure they do not raise any objections to the application;
Obtaining the earliest available hearing date for your application;
Explaining how to collect your sealed orders from the court; and
Ensuring that you are able to obtain your limited licence from a licensing agent.
It is important to ensure that your limited licence is fit for purpose because if you breach any of the terms of your limited licence the consequences are serious.
A lawyer who is experienced in making these applications will take the time to find out what your needs are and then find a way to balance this with the requirement to place restrictions of the hours, areas and vehicles that will be available to you. There would be nothing worse than rushing home each night after work for fear that you might fall outside the hours permitted by your limited licence. It is better to take care at the start to get it right.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Danielle’s services. I spoke to 5 or 6 different lawyers when I needed representation and her professionalism and knowledge during an initial call made her the clear choice. Danielle’s perseverance and depth of knowledge led to a successful outcome, and I am so thankful to have found her”.
